A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking an accomplished Sales Director to lead strategic initiatives and manage a global sales team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in technical software sales, with a deep understanding of engineering principles. This position offers a competitive base salary, commission, and the convenience of remote work across the Continental United States.
Responsible for driving revenue growth, managing, leading, and coaching a global sales team and channel partners, and shaping strategic initiatives to strengthen our position in key markets. Analyze sales metrics to drive continuous improvement and prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical software sales, international market development, and team leadership. Strong understanding of turbomachinery, CAE software, or related engineering tools is highly desirable. Must have demonstrated success in leading international sales teams and channel partners and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Domestic and international travel is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of seven years of relevant sales or sales leadership experience in an industrial or aerospace setting.
