Job summary

Verint Systems, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source SW, SaaS, and IaaS, and to manage vendor negotiations and contracts within a global procurement framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of procurement experience in sourcing SW, SaaS & IaaS, including a strong knowledge of software license and SaaS terms.
• Highly organized individual with excellent time management; able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to demonstrate personal attributes such as independence, confidence, integrity, and thoroughness.
• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a complex environment.
• Limited domestic travel to attend business meetings.
• Successful completion of a background screening including employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS verification, and credit/drug screening where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in contractual and commercial negotiations with new and existing SW, SaaS, and service vendor partners.
• Ensure proper purchasing involvement in all major vendor engagements and manage vendor relationships.
• Promote savings and value through proactive negotiations and benchmarking of supplier rates and cost models.
• Contribute to establishment, communication, and implementation of procurement goals and improvements.
• Establish global cooperation and alignment with IT, Finance, Legal, Services and Operations.
• Ensure all procurement activities follow the Global Procurement policy and procedures.
