Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams
• 3+ years designing or architecting scalable systems
• 8+ years leading the definition and development of multi tier web services
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks life cycle

Responsibilities

• Managing one of the largest build fleet in the industry performing thousands of millions of package builds everyday.
• Directly hiring, retaining and growing top engineering talent for your team.
• Having a clear technical voice, working with and partnering with other teams to deliver a highly scalable and reliable service.
• Continuously and reliably delivering high quality technical solutions to delight your customers.
• Operating a critical service for Amazon
• Creating annual plans for the Source team and contributing to the annual plans of the larger organization delivering products for Amazon engineers.
