Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Security Operations Center professional to triage and respond to alarms and emergencies. You will provide direction and documentation for emergency response, monitor intelligence across data sources, and coordinate communications to impacted business units and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include incident documentation, escalation, risk assessment of threats, and support for travel safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School/GED and 1+ year experience in Central Monitoring Station, SOC, Call/Dispatch Center or Customer Service.
• Experience with Emergency Response protocols and processes (public or private sector).
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Responds to alarms for Security, Fire, and safety following procedures and documents actions.
• Handles emergencies reported to the SOC via calls, emails, and social media with detailed documentation and escalation as needed.
• Monitors threats to assets and people using news, social media, and intelligence sources to assess operational impact.
• Coordinates traveler safety and briefs on travel assistance programs for employees.
• Troubleshoots system issues and supports 24/7 security operations.
• Participates in Emergency Response Team plans and supports business resiliency through intelligence and documentation.
• Responds to requests from departments and authorities with timely information.
• Complies with NFPA guidelines and UL policies for inspections.
