Job summary

Insight Global is seeking two experienced Snowflake Administrators for a large healthcare/medical device client. This offshore, 6-month contract engagement focuses on maintaining platform stability, performance, and data operations across the organization.

You will manage users, RBAC, warehouses, security, monitoring, cost optimization, and collaborate with data engineering and business teams, with overlap to the US team and on-call coverage during go-lives.

Qualifications

• Snowflake administration hands-on experience.
• 6–10 years of overall technical experience.
• Strong SQL skills; SAP as a source system is a plus.
• Familiarity with DBT and transformation in Snowflake.
• Experience in an AWS cloud environment.
• Ability to work overlapping US–offshore shifts.
• Security, networking, and governance practices.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Fluent English, certification preferred or to obtain soon.

Responsibilities

• Core administrator for the Snowflake environment with near 24/7 coverage.
• Platform administration: users, roles, access controls, granting permissions.
• Warehouse management: sizing, performance tuning, cost awareness.
• Security & governance: implement security, networking, governance policies.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting to prevent incidents and outages.
• Documentation: SOPs and best-practice guides for the platform.
• Collaborate with data engineering, integration, and business teams.
• Provide on-call coverage during critical go-lives and hypercare.
