Optomi seeks a Snowflake Platform Administrator to design, administer, secure, and optimize the enterprise Snowflake data platform. You will collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, Security, and BI teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient environment.

Responsibilities include managing Snowflake across environments, implementing security controls, improving performance, and automating provisioning using DevOps practices.

Formación

• Extensive Snowflake platform knowledge and administration experience.
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Optomi, in partnership with a leading Fortune 500 foodservice distribution company, is seeking a Snowflake Platform Administrator to join their team! You will be responsible for the design, administration, security, performance, automation, and operational support of the enterprise Snowflake data platform. This role partners closely with Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Security, Infrastructure, Governance, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure Snowflake remains a secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective data platform.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data platforms, database administration, cloud engineering, or data engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake administration and engineering experience
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud data platforms
• Experience with cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture and administration
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Scripting experience with Python
• Knowledge of data integration and ETL/ELT technologies
