Job summary

GSK is seeking a Smart Manufacturing Execution Lead in the United States (PA) to drive the Smart Manufacturing strategy across the GSC network. You will accelerate data‑to‑value through Industry 4.0 capabilities and advanced analytics.

You will partner with GPS, Manufacturing, Quality, NPI/CMC, Supply Chain, Engineering, Digital/Tech, and external partners to prioritize value and deliver scalable solutions with measurable impact on productivity and lead times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Science, Engineering, Automation, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• 6+ years delivering complex cross‑functional transformation initiatives in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with full project life cycle from business case to BAU/ hyper care.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Smart Manufacturing strategy and develop a multi‑year, value‑driven roadmap aligned to GSC objectives.
• Lead site-level value identification, assess digital maturity, and quantify benefits to select projects.
• Deliver end‑to‑end Industry 4.0 solutions (IT/OT, MES/eBR, SCADA/DCS, analytics) with global and site teams.
• Improve data availability and contextualization for decision‑making and advanced control.
• Build and lead cross‑functional delivery teams across Ops, Quality, MSAT, Supply Chain, Engineering, Digital/Tech.
• Define global standards for design, validation, data integrity, cybersecurity, and supplier delivery.
