Job summary

GSK is seeking a Senior Engineering Leader to head site engineering, maintenance, and technical teams at a United States manufacturing site. You will partner with operations, quality, EHS, and supply chain to deliver capital projects and continuous improvements, shaping site strategy and enabling scalable, compliant production.

The role emphasizes coaching, problem solving, and delivering measurable results, with potential hybrid on-site work depending on site needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil or related).
• At least 10 years in engineering/maintenance in regulated manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years managing technical staff or engineering teams.
• Experience delivering capital projects with budgeting and governance.
• Experience with FDA/EMA inspections in regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead site engineering and maintenance programs to ensure safe, compliant and reliable production.
• Manage capital projects from scope through commissioning, meeting budget and schedule targets.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, spare parts strategy, and equipment reliability programs.
• Ensure engineering systems meet regulatory, quality and EHS requirements and global standards.
• Drive energy, sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and risk.
• Build and develop the engineering team, including contractors, and support cross-functional site priorities.
