Job summary

Astronautics, headquartered in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to ensure accurate preparation, packaging, documentation, and shipping to customers and suppliers worldwide.

You will partner with multiple departments, use the ERP system and FedEx/UPS software, review drawings and ERP data, label products, and guarantee compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements in this on-site role reporting to the Supervisor of Shipping & Receiving.

Qualifications

• Minimum High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum one year of shipping and/or receiving experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience working with an ERP system.
• Proficient with multiple software applications and accurate documentation.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined under U.S. export regulations.
• IFS experience.
• Experience using shipping software such as FedEx Ship Manager or UPS WorldShip.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial, government, and export shipping documentation, including airbills and labels.
• Create and process shipments using ERP and FedEx/UPS software.
• Receive products from internal departments and prepare them for shipment.
• Review engineering drawings and ERP docs to identify and label products before shipment.
• Package products per company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Generate shipping labels and documentation via customer portals when applicable.
• Enter shipment details and tracking data into ERP systems and portals.
• Print, verify, and process customer orders, packing slips, shipping labels, and related documentation.
• Label, mark, and prepare shipping containers for safe transport.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist with shipping/receiving and other warehouse tasks.
• Perform additional duties and special projects.
