Job summary

The Garlock Family of Companies in Houston is looking for a Shipping Clerk to manage the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and maintain an organized work environment.

Responsibilities include preparing outbound shipments and coordinating with freight forwarders for efficient delivery. A strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this role. Relevant experience is preferred, especially in operating material-handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
• Experience with international shipping/export documentation and compliance preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately from inventory.
• Pack products securely using appropriate materials.
• Prepare shipments including labeling and verifying accuracy.
