Job summary

Urschel Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an International Shipping Clerk to support the Customer Service team. The role focuses on processing airfreight and sea freight shipments, handling customs documents, and coordinating with forwarders to ensure timely deliveries from our Chesterton, Indiana headquarters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math, organizational, multitasking and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Manufacturing background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process airfreight shipments and prepare all customs documents.
• Process sea freight shipments; coordinate with forwarders for bookings and customs docs.
• Book courier shipments (UPS/FedEx/DHL) and generate shipping labels in the TMS system.
• Maintain shipping-related email responses and communicate with customers, offices, agents, and forwarders.
