Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Global Sourcing Manager for Sheet Metal to drive commodity strategies for metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. You will own supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and collaborate with Engineering to align specs and build plans.

You will lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, manage supply continuity, and push for cost reductions and quality improvements across multiple business units.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of raw metals, and/or sourcing engineering.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute commodity strategies for sheet metal, focusing on cost reduction, technology development, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
End-to-end responsibility for delivering quality materials and/or parts at the right cost.
Act as the sourcing expert for sheet metal.
Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing process for raw metals.
Own the business relationship with external suppliers and ensure continuity of supply, cost negotiations, and MP operation execution.
Partner with Engineering and Suppliers to influence design specs and manufacturing requirements.
Perform detailed cost analysis and data-driven supply chain decisions based on total cost of ownership.
