Job summary

Kforce is partnering with a Saint Louis area client to hire a Shared Services Accounting Leader. This hybrid leadership role oversees global accounting operations, drives process improvements and ERP initiatives, and ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership, CPA and public accounting experience preferred, and the ability to develop talent while partnering with cross-functional leaders on strategic finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA and public accounting experience preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive accounting and leadership roles.
• Experience leading accounting operations and teams.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead global shared services accounting operations and oversee key financial close activities.
• Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team while driving operational excellence.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support financial reporting, compliance, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support finance transformation including ERP initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance accounting processes and drive continuous improvement.
