Job summary

Fluke is seeking a Service Engineering Manager to lead a diverse engineering organization supporting global service operations. Based in Everett, WA, the role requires onsite presence at least 3 days per week with global travel several times yearly.

You will shape team structures, hire and coach talent, and drive NPI, sustaining engineering, and lab-based manufacturing/DFX efforts to ensure service excellence and alignment with product development and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in service engineering, test, manufacturing, product support, or related technical field.
• Experience leading technical teams and cross-functional programs.
• Strong knowledge of service environments including NPI, sustaining support, diagnostics, calibration, test methods, repair processes and lab operations.
• Experience developing or supporting test fixtures, automation, procedures, and documentation.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence across geographies.
• Must be onsite in Everett, WA at least 3 days per week and able to travel globally several times per year.

• Lead a multi-functional service engineering organization supporting global service operations.
• Define, integrate, and evolve team structures for clear ownership and collaboration.
• Hire, develop, and coach engineering talent across functions.
• Provide direction to globally distributed resources and drive continuous improvement.
• Support NPI and sustaining engineering, ensuring readiness and alignment with product teams.
• Drive use of CAD, 3D printing, automation, and software tools to improve capability.
• Oversee lab-based service manufacturing, testing, and DFX activities to meet operational needs.
• Partner with service operations, quality, R&D, and manufacturing to meet business goals.
