Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 13+ years of experience in server engineering or data center operations.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience leading enterprise server engineering across large federal environments.
• Expertise in Windows Server and UNIX/Linux platforms, virtualization, and HCM strategies.
• Strong DevSecOps experience with Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center management services for server platforms across the global enterprise.
• Direct server installation support across worldwide Consular facilities with rapid response.
• Define design strategy for physical/virtual hosting supporting CA IT across 350+ facilities.
• Set enterprise standards for Windows/UNIX/Linux servers, physical and virtual.
• Oversee OS configuration, security fixes, app installs, upgrades, and Oracle DB changes.
• Define Hardware Configuration Management (HCM) strategy for DT/EA/CST items.
• Develop site survey strategies with renovations and upgrades recommendations.
• Maintain server refresh plans across worldwide Consular facilities with minimal disruption.
• Excel in DevSecOps tooling (Ansible, Terraform, SonarQube) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide leadership on major assignments including budgets, staffing, and methodology.
