Swoon is partnered with a global leader in industrial and electronic components, to hire a Global Senior Sales Manager to lead the global sales strategy for their protective relays business. This high-impact role involves managing an international direct sales team, collaborating with manufacturer reps and cross-functional sales groups, and directly supporting key global accounts to meet revenue targets.

Location: Remote | 40–50% Travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy aligned with company revenue goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a global direct sales team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize opportunities.
  • Manage top-tier accounts and report performance to leadership.
  • Equip the team with tools, training, and resources to drive success.
  • Develop sales methodology and KPIs to improve team performance.
  • Coach technical sales associates at all levels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to support production and product planning.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform commercial strategies and R&D initiatives.
  • Support product development and marketing efforts.

Industry Insight (10%)

  • Monitor competitive landscape and global trends.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Electrical preferred); MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience leading technical sales teams.
  • Strong industry knowledge and experience in distribution channels.
  • Proven success in a global or multinational sales leadership role.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
