UPM Specialty Papers is looking for Senior Manager, Sales to join our packaging papers sales team in North America.

What you will do

  • Manage medium-sized or large sales budget to meet designated sales and customer targets

  • Manage global key accounts for select packaging paper customers

  • Develop and implement sales plans, activities, and campaigns for an assigned geography, market segment or customers

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and targets

  • Monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources

  • Regularly liaise with and n egotiate sales with existing and potential customers

  • Contribute to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility through provision of market intelligence and customer information

  • Cooperate closely with local customer service

Who you are

  • You have university degree and minimum 5- 7 years of relevant experience

  • You have a broad knowledge of industrial market (B2B), product and services, sustainability and sales processes (experience in the packaging industry is a plus)

  • You know and understand sales tools and methodologies

  • You are proficient in commercial , communication and interpersonal skills. You are highly skilled at prioritising and self- leadership. You network with ease

  • You have knowledge of change management

  • Spanish language skills are a strong asset

  • You have knowledge on Microsoft Office tools and experience in using SAP, Oracle and Salesforce

  • You have wide availability for travel

Salary range: 146,846 to 198,674 USD / year based on qualifications and experience

UPM offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following:

The role will be home-office based, and require the ability to travel regularly.
