Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the United States. You will develop moderately to highly complex schedule and cost baselines, collect and analyze monthly data, and assist in root-cause analyses.

You will ensure risk reserves are maintained and integrated into forecasts while communicating findings to stakeholders. The role requires EVMS experience, strong collaboration with project teams and management, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of project management methodology including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies.
Demonstrates understanding of project finance, accounting or business administration.
Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications to build schedules and cost baselines.
Experienced with earned value management and project performance reporting.

Responsibilities

Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts and validates project costs.
Monitors progress and prepares client and internal status reports.
Performs portfolio analysis and reviews findings with portfolio managers.
Ensures compliance with internal procedures and safety protocols.
