Job summary

The role requires 8–10+ years in clinical operations, regulatory knowledge, and strong leadership. Travel ~25% and onsite work in Brisbane, CA are expected.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in biological sciences; 8–10+ years in the industry.
• Willing to travel 25% for programs.
• Extensive knowledge of FDA/EMA/ICH/GCP regulations.
• Experience managing global trials or multi-region programs.
• Proven vendor/CRO relationship management at a strategic level.
• Mentoring CTMs/CTAs.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent organization to manage a portfolio of trials.

Responsibilities

• Own operational strategy across multiple trials and/or regions.
• Shape protocol strategy and study design inputs.
• Lead vendor/CRO selection and contract negotiations.
• Escalation point for vendor or site issues.
• Forecast budgets and flag financial risks across the portfolio.
• Mentor and develop CTMs/CTAs.
• Lead audit readiness and manage inspections.
• Represent Clinical Operations at program level and externally at events.
• Anticipate risk and drive preventive process improvements.
• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives.
