Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager to own semiconductor sourcing for Boards and Systems Supply Chain. You will formulate and execute sourcing strategies, build cross-functional alignment with hardware engineering, and manage supplier relations to improve value, risk and flexibility.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in global commodity management, deep knowledge of AI hardware and Power Semiconductors, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• BS in EE, Business, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent experience).
• MBA Preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in global commodity management and a consistent record in running Semiconductor Supply Base.
• Deep understanding of AI hardware architecture and how electrical components work in complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of Power Semiconductor technology, market, manufacturing process, cost drivers and supply landscape.
• Ability to be innovative in strategic sourcing, supplier relations, and supplier performance measurement systems.
• Excellent negotiation and leadership skills in supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with supply base executives.
• High integrity, initiative and attention to detail in a collaborative environment.
• Technical experience to complement strong program management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build cross-functional alignment with Hardware engineering to identify sourcing strategies meeting Board and System requirements.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships and conduct reviews to improve value and performance.
• Negotiate MSAs, cost reduction plans, and manage lead-time and cost systems.
• Deliver supplier risk management and BOM risk reduction strategies to ensure supply resiliency.
• Resolve impediments to production readiness and support execution during production.
• Enable early supplier involvement to bring industry innovation to project schedules.
• Lead RFQ processes and drive supplier selection with Engineering.
