Qualifications

• Degree in Homeland Security, Security Management, Intelligence and Policy Analysis or other closely related fields or local equivalent required
• 7 to 10 years of full-time experience leading and executing high-level security responsibilities
• A minimum of 5+ years leading teams or direct people management
• Demonstrated knowledge of security operations management and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply risk and security concepts
• Working knowledge of regulatory environments, compliance programs, analytics, intelligence and preventative security measures

Responsibilities

• Owns local site security operations activities related to the protection of individuals, assets, and property.
• Develops, implements, and manages site-level security processes, practices, and policies; establishes and implements calibrated standards and controls
• Serves as the local manager for security related crises and incidents
• Implements state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques to safeguard personnel and assets, including intellectual property and trade secrets
• Determines site operational expenses and manages forecasts
• Manages response to issues involving troubling persons and situations, security-related crises or incidents and associated legal matters as needed
• Writes, reviews and/or submits formal security-related documentation such as incident reports, summaries, program proposals/recommendations, and other formal written communications
• Organizes, conducts, and delivers written security assessment presentations and reports
• Maintains organizational readiness through management of global security programs and processes (e.g. annual reporting, risk register, technology roadmap, etc.)
• Collaborates with Global Security leadership on governance cadences, submission and aggregation of reports
