Job summary

Mattel is seeking a Senior Manager, Security Operations to own the global security operations program, including MDR governance, incident response, and threat intelligence. You will lead a cross‑functional team spanning endpoint, cloud, identity, and third‑party security, ensuring governance, playbooks, and automation drive risk reduction and resilience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity including Security Operations, Incident Response.
• 5+ years leading global cybersecurity operations teams.
• Experience leading enterprise Security Operations programs including SOC, MDR, and incident response.
• Demonstrated experience as Incident Manager during major cybersecurity incidents.
• Experience managing third‑party security incidents involving cloud providers, SaaS, and supply chain partners.
• Leadership in MDR governance, vendor management, and executive engagement.
• Strong knowledge of EDR, ITDR, MDR, SIEM/SOAR, threat intelligence, detection engineering, and threat hunting.
• Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and NIST SP 800-61.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mattel's global Security Operations program and MDR services.
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Security Operations.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing Security Operations organization.
• Establish governance, playbooks, and best practices for detection, investigation, and response.
• Drive automation, AI, and intelligence‑led operations to improve maturity.
• Manage Security Operations budgets, resource planning, and vendor investments.
• Present posture and performance to executives and governance forums.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align priorities with risk management.
