Job summary

The Future Talent Program at Merck offers internships up to 12 weeks within our Global Support Division. Interns will work with the Global Watch Desk in Global Security on projects ranging from monitoring systems to geopolitical risk and travel security initiatives.

This supervised internship emphasizes strong writing, information collection, and developing solutions within our methods and processes. The program may train for two weeks to function as a watch officer and require back-up shift

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in IR, Law, Criminology, Political Science, Public Policy, Behavioral Science, Psychology, Cyber Security or Computer Science.
• Candidates must be able to commit to full-time employment for 10–12 weeks beginning summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of tasks and projects in Global Watch Desk and Global Security.
• Develop information and solutions for projects of limited scope.
