General Description
The Global Security Intelligence Manager is responsible for leading the Crane Worldwide Logistics global security intelligence program, providing actionable intelligence, threat assessments, executive briefings, and predictive risk analysis that enable proactive protection of company personnel, facilities, shipments, customers, and operations.
This position serves as the intelligence lead within Global Security and partners closely with the Global Security Director, GSOC, Transportation Security, Cybersecurity, HR, Legal, Compliance, and regional security teams. The role develops and manages intelligence collection, analysis, dissemination, and intelligence-led risk mitigation programs across global operations. The position transforms data, threat information, and incident reporting into actionable security insights that reduce risk, support business continuity, and strengthen supply chain resilience.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and manage the enterprise Global Security Intelligence Program.
- Establish intelligence collection requirements aligned with business risks, customer expectations, cargo theft trends, geopolitical developments, and operational concerns.
- Build strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence processes and products.
- Establish intelligence governance, quality standards, and dissemination procedures.
- Continuously improve intelligence methodologies, tools, and analytic tradecraft.
- Develop annual intelligence priorities informed by business risk assessments.
Global Threat Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor and assess (but not limited to):
- Cargo theft activity
- Supply chain threats
- Geopolitical instability
- Insider threats
- Fraud and cyber-enabled cargo theft
- Terrorism concerns
- Weather and natural disasters
- Emerging criminal tradecraft
- Conduct trend, pattern, and predictive analysis to identify emerging risks.
- Produce strategic intelligence estimates and risk forecasts.
- Develop geographic, customer-specific, and commodity-specific threat assessments.
Cargo Theft Intelligence & Supply Chain Risk
- Lead collection and analysis of cargo theft intelligence globally.
- Identify organized criminal groups, theft methodologies, theft corridors, and emerging tactics targeting logistics providers.
- Develop route risk assessments and intelligence-driven mitigation recommendations.
- Publish recurring strategic cargo theft briefings.

- Facility targeting trends
- Support HVHR shipment protection initiatives with predictive intelligence.
- Serve as the intelligence function leader supporting GSOC operations.
- Integrate threat intelligence into monitoring, detection, and escalation workflows.
- Provide real-time intelligence support during incidents and crises.
- Develop intelligence-driven alerting and tripwire capabilities.
- Ensure intelligence products provide operationally relevant early warning indicators.
- Support executive notifications and crisis communications during major incidents.
Executive Briefings & Strategic Reporting
- Prepare executive-level threat briefings and strategic intelligence updates.
- Produce recurring intelligence products including:
- Weekly intelligence summaries
- Executive threat briefings
- Quarterly risk assessments
- Annual threat forecasts
- Crisis intelligence reports
- Present findings to executive leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Translate complex intelligence into concise business-focused recommendations.
Crisis Management & Business Continuity
- Develop intelligence products supporting Crisis Management and Business Continuity programs.
- Monitor evolving incidents and provide executive situational awareness updates.
- Participate in crisis exercises and tabletop events.
Physical Requirements
- Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
- Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate computer equipment. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- May require travel to client and site locations to support implementation activities, including on-site presence during go-live periods.
- Job will require presence at the assigned work location.
- Minimum travel of 25-50% will be required.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Security Management, Homeland Security, Political Science, Risk Management, or related discipline.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of intelligence, investigations, security operations, law enforcement, military intelligence, corporate security, or risk management experience.
- 3+ years leading intelligence or analytical teams.
- Experience in supply chain security, logistics, transportation, or global operations preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or global enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with TAPA, C TPAT, ISO, or similar security frameworks.
- Experience integrating threat intelligence and OSINT into operational workflows.
- Professional certifications (CPP, PSP, PCI, CBCP, or similar).
