Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead security strategy across regions. The role oversees enterprise risk management, physical security, crisis management, and executive protection, with responsibilities spanning policy, risk assessment, and vendor oversight.

You will work within the Global EHS Team, reporting to the Senior Director, and operate in a fully remote setting with travel up to 40–60% internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant functional experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise‑level security programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across regions.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigate plans for asset protection and physical security systems.
• Support crisis management, incident response, business continuity, and executive escalation for major events.
• Define executive protection strategies and travel security program elements with Danaher protocols.
• Collaborate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations in a cross‑functional environment.
