Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford is seeking a Director of Security to develop and oversee a robust security program across our facilities. You will manage guard force operations, access control, CCTV and incident response to protect employees and assets.

You will collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, lead investigations, administer background checks, and coordinate security audits. Travel and occasional overtime may be required as you ensure compliance and safety across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years in security leadership or related field.
• Bachelor's degree required; strong analytical and budgeting capabilities.
• Ability to manage internal and contract security staff and coordinate with vendors.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory bodies and audits.
• Excellent communication and incident response skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies adapting to evolving threats.
• Oversee card access, CCTV, fire, burglar and environmental systems maintenance.
• Manage internal security staff and contract security services; ensure training and compliance.
• Coordinate visitor controls and investigations; lead background checks as needed.
• Represent PCI during security audits and respond to findings.
• Maintain relationships with law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee security budgets and stay current with industry best practices.
• Travel as required; occasional overtime/weekends.
