AbbVie seeks an Access Control Coordinator for Global Security Operations. You will oversee the electronic access control program, support contractor access, and train staff in Lake County and beyond.

Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies while collaborating with Security, HR, and Talent Acquisition. The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 3+ years in security or related fields, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years in security operations, emergency dispatch, or similar roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with security software is a plus.
• Excellent accuracy, communication, and customer-service skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee access control program and manage badge provisioning and removals.
• Serve as Global Security contact for access control contractor support.
• Train frontline staff on electronic access control procedures.
• Coordinate with Security and HR teams to ensure compliant access.
• Perform quarterly audits of badge assignments and maintain records.
• Troubleshoot badge issues and manage access level changes.
