Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a detail‑oriented Associate for Securities Settlements Operations in New York. You will build strong relationships with traders, clients, and internal teams, ensuring timely settlement and strong control practices.

The role offers exposure to a wide range of settlements processes and interaction with global teams as part of a dynamic, high‑risk environment. You will contribute to reducing risk, optimizing workflows, and improving client experience by acting as a change

Qualifications

Exceptional client service and relationship building are required.
Control focus and achievement orientation to mitigate risk.
Relevant industry work experience preferred, but not required.
Basic knowledge of equities and fixed income markets.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders—Business, Engineering, Operations and Treasury.
Engage, partner and drive changes; provide excellent service and support.
Ensure transactions are delivered in a timely manner in line with SLAs.
Monitor Key Risk Indicators and keep them at or below agreed levels.
Proactively manage operational risk and identify/mitigate issues.
Maintain adequate operational controls and complete daily checklists for assigned functions.
