Job summary

TikTok is seeking a strategic Compliance Lead to own the Global Sanctions Program framework, the guardian of the Sanctions Policy, and to align with evolving global regulations (OFAC, EU, UK, UN). You will drive governance over program health and manage regulatory and business-driven changes, including new product launches.

Responsibilities include sanctions policy development, governance, regulatory change management, controls design, training, and data governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of U.S. financial regulatory and sanctions compliance experience, with emphasis on OFAC and fintech platforms.
• Deep knowledge of OFAC, EU, UN and MAS sanctions regulations, BSA/AML, FinCEN guidance, and enforcement trends.
• Demonstrated expertise in policy development, governance frameworks, risk assessment, and change management methodologies.
• Strong background in sanctions screening, due diligence, onboarding, and escalation workflows for digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Sanctions policy development and maintenance across product lines aligned with OFAC, U.S., EU, UK, and MAS requirements.
• Governance and oversight: define a global sanctions governance structure and ensure effective controls.
• Regulatory change management: lead impact assessments, approvals, and post-implementation review.
• Controls design and testing: oversee sanctions controls across onboarding, payments, and monetization.
• Training and awareness: develop sanctions training and drive platform-wide initiatives.
• Data governance and metrics: define sanctions KPIs and leadership dashboards.
