Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director, Global Sanctions & Export Control Compliance to join the Global Financial Crimes Compliance team in Purchase, NY. You will help design, execute and oversee Mastercard's sanctions and export controls framework to meet international regulatory obligations.

You will drive enhancements, adapt policies, and develop trainings across the enterprise, while leading risk assessment processes and investigations of sanctions-related incidents.

Qualifications

• Evidence of domain expertise in economic sanctions and export controls.
• Experience managing sanctions-related risk assessments and controls.
• Experience advising internal and external clients on sanctions issues.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Drive enhancements to sanctions and export control programs.
• Adapt policies to regulatory changes.
• Develop and deliver trainings on program requirements.
• Lead risk assessment processes for sanctions-related risks.
• Oversee sanctions screening for customers, third parties, and employees.
• Lead investigations on sanctions-related incidents.
• Support due diligence for mergers and acquisitions assignments.
• Provide SME input on product development and regulatory changes.
