Job summary

Epsilon, a leading data and identity company within Publicis Groupe, seeks a Principal, Software Asset Management Enterprise Lead to shape the global SAM program. You will drive licensing compliance, optimize multi-vendor environments, and report to the VP of Asset Management Services.

You will collaborate with IT, Legal, and Finance to align SAM with business objectives and lead a high-performing team focused on governance, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or related field (master’s preferred).
• 10+ years in software asset management, IT procurement, or IT governance with 5+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise SAM strategy across units and geographies.
• Establish governance, policies, and controls for SAM practices.
• Provide executive-level reporting on software expenditure and compliance risks.
• Lead end-to-end software lifecycle management: procurement, deployment, usage, renewal, retirement.
• Oversee SAM tools (Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow) for automation and compliance tracking.
• Drive cost optimization including license consolidation and cloud subscriptions.
• Ensure licensing compliance with vendor agreements and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage vendor relationships and prepare for external audits and internal reviews.
• Identify and mitigate risks of unauthorized software use and non-compliance.
• Partner with IT, procurement, finance, legal, and business stakeholders.
