Job summary

Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Senior Category Manager for SAM spend, focused on North America. You will develop global category strategies, lead supplier partnerships, and drive value through strategic sourcing, risk management, and cost optimization.

Travel up to 25% is expected as part of global collaboration. You will report to the Procurement Category Director – SAM and partner with regional leaders to deliver sustainable business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related discipline.
• MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain cross-functional roles or sourcing.
• Experience operating in a matrix organization and managing through ambiguity.
• Strong knowledge in a major sourcing commodity group.
• Excellent strategic sourcing and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global category strategies aligned to business needs.
• Negotiate supply contracts; develop pre-negotiation BATNA and cost analyses.
• Set annual targets for value creation across safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Lead supplier relationships and drive collaboration and innovation.
• Provide risk management and scorecard-driven performance monitoring.
• Support major supply chain initiatives and forecast spend/supplier analytics.
