Job summary

Resolve Marine is seeking a Salvage Naval Architect (SNA) to support emergency response, salvage, and wreck removal operations on project sites worldwide. The SNA reports to the Salvage Master and Engineering Manager, providing technical plans, 3D hull models, and on-site or remote engineering support.

This role requires up to 50–75% travel, development of drawings and stability calculations, and coordination with classification societies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering required.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain EIT in Florida preferred.
• Professional Engineer license strongly preferred.
• Experience with CAD drawings and hydrostatics for stability analysis desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D hull models for stability software and salvage operations.
• Create written technical plans, drawings, and diagrams for emergency response and wreck removal.
• Conduct hydrostatics calculations and define ballast/cargo discharge requirements.
• Coordinate with classification societies and flag states on maintenance and modifications.
• Prepare and support on-site and remote engineering support for operations.
