Job summary

Resolve Marine in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Junior Salvage Naval Architect to support emergency response, wreck removal, and field operations. You will develop emergency plans, 3D hull models, and stability calculations while traveling up to 75% to sites worldwide.

The role blends office and on-site work in a dynamic marine environment. You must have a Naval Architecture degree and at least two years of experience; EIT certification or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in naval architecture or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain EIT in Florida.
• Proficiency with hydrostatics, 3D hull modeling and stability software; AutoCAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to Salvage Master and operations team; develop technical plans, drawings and site plans.
• Develop 3D hull models for stability software and damage scenarios.
• Perform hydrostatics and stability calculations; estimate ground reactions and ballast/cargo requirements.
• Create engineering plans and drawings for emergency response, salvage and wreck removal; field and remote support.
• Prepare and submit technical plans to clients and authorities; coordinate with classification societies and flag states.
