Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Salesforce Enterprise Architect to shape vision, architecture, and governance of Emerson’s global Salesforce platform. This senior role collaborates across business and technology teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions aligned with enterprise standards and digital transformation.

You will drive platform roadmaps, oversee multi-org Salesforce environments, and mentor teams while ensuring data integrity, security, and interoperability with ERP and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive enterprise technology experience with at least 5 years in architecture roles spanning multiple platforms.
• Demonstrated experience as an enterprise or solution architect on large-scale Salesforce implementations in global orgs.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance contexts.
• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and enterprise middleware.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, design principles, and governance for Salesforce across the organization.
• Provide architectural leadership for multi-org Salesforce environments, integrations, security models, and data management strategies.
• Collaborate with solution architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders to review designs and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Partner with IT and EA leaders to drive platform roadmap decisions and technology adoption strategies.
• Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and core enterprise platforms (ERP, data, middleware, identity management, cloud tech).
• Evaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities and related technologies for business value, scalability and readiness.
• Identify and address platform performance, scalability, security, and technical debt considerations.
• Contribute to architecture review processes, reusable design patterns, and best practices for consistency.
• Support global governance models balancing standardization with business flexibility while protecting data integrity.
