Emerson is seeking a Salesforce Enterprise Architect to shape vision, architecture, and governance of Emerson’s global Salesforce platform. Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, design principles, and governance processes for Salesforce across the organization.
Provide architectural leadership and guidance for multi-org Salesforce environments, integrations, security models, and data management strategies.
Collaborate with solution architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders to review designs and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
Partner with IT and enterprise architecture leaders to drive platform roadmap decisions and technology adoption strategies.
Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and core enterprise platforms, including ERP, data, middleware, identity management, and cloud technologies.
Evaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities and related technologies to determine business value, scalability, and enterprise readiness.
Identify and address platform performance, scalability, security, and technical debt considerations to support long‑term success.
Contribute to architecture review processes, reusable design patterns, and best practices that promote consistency and operational excellence.
Support global governance models that balance standardization with business flexibility while protecting data integrity and platform sustainability.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
12+ years of progressive enterprise technology experience, with at least 5 years in architecture roles spanning multiple platforms, systems, and business domains
Demonstrated experience as an enterprise or solution architect on large-scale, multi‑org Salesforce implementations in complex, global organizations
Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and proven experience applying them in an enterprise governance context
Hands‑on experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and enterprise middleware in a manufacturing or industrial B2B environment
Approximately 20-25% travel (global)
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
Experience leading architecture efforts for complex, multi‑org Salesforce environments.
Knowledge of Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, Incentive Compensation Management (SPIFF), or related platform solutions.
Experience with enterprise integration technologies, including API‑led and event‑driven architectures.
Understanding of identity and access management, cloud technologies, and enterprise security frameworks.
Experience with master data management, data quality programs, and enterprise data architecture.
Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial, or business‑to‑business operating environments.
Salesforce Architect‑level certification, such as Application Architect or System Architect.
Additional Salesforce, integration, cloud, or enterprise architecture certifications.
Experience participating in enterprise architecture review boards or governance organizations.
Knowledge of AI‑enabled platforms, data foundations, and emerging enterprise technologies.
