Job summary

DePuy Synthes in Raynham, MA and other global sites is seeking a Sr. Manager of Safety/PSM to lead environmental, health, safety, and process safety programs. This role ensures regulatory compliance and embeds risk-based safety into manufacturing and operations across sites worldwide.

The position drives a strong safety culture, guides investigations and audits, and partners with leadership, engineering, and operations to protect personnel and sustain compliant, safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience.
• Experience managing complex safety programs at site or organizational level.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Safety and PSM programs, aligning with standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with global/local safety and environmental regulations.
• Develop and improve safety policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Partner with site leadership to identify and mitigate safety risks.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions with timely corrective actions.
• Analyze safety metrics to inform decisions and drive improvements.
• Coach and develop leaders to strengthen safety culture and accountability.
