Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes unit seeks a Sr. Manager, Safety/PSM, to lead EH&S programs across global operations, including Raynham, MA and other locations. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, policy implementation, and risk-based safety practices to protect employees and sustain operations.

You will collaborate with leadership to drive continuous safety improvements, audits, investigations, and training, supporting a strong safety culture across manufacturing sites and functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
• Ability to lead investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action programs.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive safety performance.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or highly regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global Safety and Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
• Ensure compliance with global and local safety and environmental regulations.
• Drive development and continuous improvement of safety policies, procedures, and systems.
• Partner with site leadership, engineering, and operations to identify and mitigate safety risks.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions; close findings and actions.
• Analyze safety metrics to inform decisions and drive improvements.
• Coach and influence leaders and employees to strengthen safety culture.
