Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Safety Policy & Governance professional to lead global safety policy development and governance across Uber's Mobility and Delivery businesses.

You will partner with Product, Data Science, Safety Support, and Legal to drive improvements and ensure compliant reporting and auditing. The role requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex data into persuasive narratives for executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in tech industry or consulting in project/program management or operations/strategy roles
• Strong program and project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to tell clear, compelling stories from complex data
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop robust platform safety policies and procedures across Mobility and Delivery lines
• Establish governance frameworks and risk controls for safety data reporting
• Identify issues using data-driven approaches and drive scalable solutions
• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to prioritize and resource mitigation
• Craft clear narratives from data to influence executive discussions
