Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Safety Policy & Governance leader to advance global safety standards across our platform.

You will design policies, oversee incident reporting and auditing, and partner with Product, Data Science, Safety Support, and Legal to drive scalable safety solutions. You will translate complex data into clear narratives for executives, manage multiple projects, and influence cross-functional teams to prioritize safety improvements across our mobility and delivery

Qualifications

4+ years of tech or consulting experience in PM/operations/strategy roles.
Excellent written and oral communication with ability to tell clear stories from analysis.
Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop platform safety policies and procedures across Mobility and Delivery business lines.
Establish governance frameworks and controls for safety data reporting lifecycle.
Proactively identify issues using data-driven root-cause analysis and drive scalable solutions.
Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Safety Support, and Legal to devise effective safety solutions.
Craft clear, persuasive narratives from complex data to influence executives.
