Job summary

A leading data center solutions provider is seeking a Director, Global Safety to lead its safety program across data center construction and operations. The successful candidate will implement safety strategies and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and over 10 years of experience in HSE programs. The position is based in Herndon, VA, and may involve travel of 25-50%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading HSE programs across construction and/or operational environments.
• Demonstrated success implementing safety programs across multiple sites or regions.
• Hands-on experience conducting incident investigations and HSE audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain global Safety policies and standards.
• Conduct HSE audits and inspections to evaluate performance.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure learnings are shared.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to lead or transform safety programs

Strong analytical skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering

Master’s degree preferred
