Job summary

DSV is seeking a Manager, Safety to lead injury prevention, risk assessments, safety communications, and regulatory compliance across the USA region. This role ensures that Health, Safety & Environmental Policies are implemented across DSV Solutions sites and that operations comply with applicable standards.

The position requires guiding site teams, coordinating with regulators, and delivering safety training while promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert in health, safety and environmental (HSE) with site-management collaboration.
• Working knowledge of regulations and practices such as PIT, Hazard Communication, EAP, LOTO, Machine Guarding, Fire Prevention, Electrical Safety.
• Conducts pre-operational risk assessments on new sites and proposes mitigation measures.
• Provides training/coaching to Health & Safety Managers to ensure competency and leadership development.
• Coordinates with Facility Leadership and serves as point of contact for safety-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with site management, corporate HSE, and regulators for safety initiatives.
• Conduct HSE audits and site risk assessments to verify compliance.
• Deliver safety trainings and monthly safety topics across regions.
• Ensure sites adhere to federal, state and local HSE regulations and client requirements.
• Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions with site designees.
