Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support Services to the Armed Forces and International Services. You will deploy to overseas locations, manage program delivery, oversee volunteers, and ensure compliance with mission guidelines.

The role requires living and working on military installations, navigating austere environments, and maintaining deployment readiness across mobile teams. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years related experience in program management or related field is required.
• Public speaking and strong written/verbal communication skills are required.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in team.
• Familiarity with military culture, regulations and protocol is desired.
• Experience with American Red Cross programs and services is desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage SAF/IS program services for military members, veterans, and families.
• Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, recognize, and offboard volunteers.
• Coordinate emergency communication messages and follow-up with clients.
• Support deployment readiness and mobility requirements for mobile teams.
• Represent Red Cross at official functions and community events.
