Job summary

Ciena is seeking a Global Process Owner for the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. You will own the end-to-end S&OP, set governance, and drive data-driven decisions across Sales, Finance, and Operations.

You will lead digital transformation initiatives, partner with technology teams, and champion automation and AI/ML to improve forecasting, capacity planning, and decision quality. Join a team focused on growth, agility, and cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven global S&OP leadership experience.
• Experience with major planning tools (Kinaxis, SAP IBP, Anaplan, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the global end-to-end S&OP process.
• Define governance, roles, and decision rights.
• Develop KPIs to measure S&OP performance.
• Lead digital transformations with technology partners.
• Drive automation, AI/ML in forecasting and capacity planning.
• Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Operations, and regional leaders.
