Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Sales & Operations Planning Manager to lead the global S&OP process for the Tracked Product Group portfolio. You will align demand, capacity, inventory, and financial plans across regions, partnering with commercial and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable production and customer commitments.

You will guide forecasting, capacity strategy, and risk management while driving continuous improvement and strong leadership of a global team in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Significant experience in S&OP, demand planning, or supply chain planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead global monthly S&OP process for tracked product portfolio.
• Develop demand forecasts and scenario-based planning strategies.
• Drive executive consensus on demand, supply, capacity, and financial plans.
• Lead long-range capacity planning and identify investments for growth.
• Govern inventory strategies and order fulfillment priorities.
• Provide executive-level communication on risks, opportunities, and performance.
• Collaborate with regional sales, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Establish KPIs and monitor forecast vs. production and delivery performance.
• Mitigate supply chain constraints and risks; drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and coach a high-performing, collaborative team.
