Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Sales & Operations Planning Manager to lead the global S&OP process for the Tracked Product Group portfolio, aligning demand, capacity, inventory and financials.

You will collaborate with commercial, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to deliver executable plans and support growth. The role requires leading a cross-functional team across regions, ensuring availability and profitability.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in S&OP, demand planning, or manufacturing planning within a large, complex manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading an integrated S&OP process with cross-functional alignment.
• Strong analytics and strategic decision-making with KPIs to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the global monthly S&OP process for the Tracked Product portfolio.
• Develop demand forecasts and scenario-based planning strategies.
• Drive executive consensus on demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and financial plans.
• Lead long-range capacity planning and identify strategic investments.
• Govern inventory strategies and order fulfillment priorities.
• Provide executive-level communications on risks, opportunities and performance.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams to understand market dynamics.
• Align production and material strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Establish and monitor KPIs aligning forecast, production, inventory and delivery.
