Motion Industries in Atlanta, GA seeks a Director of Risk Management to lead the company’s enterprise risk program, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across operations, finance, legal, and strategy. You will report to the VP - Legal and shape risk policies and business continuity.

You will manage the insurance program, partner with Finance, Operations, Safety, and Internal Audit, and mentor the risk team while tracking regulatory developments and industry trends.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional risk/insurance certification a plus.
• 8+ years in enterprise risk management or insurance.
• Experience leading risk management teams or functions.
• Ability to manage relationships with brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee corporate insurance portfolio, placement and renewal, and claims management.
• Develop and implement risk policies, safety and loss-prevention initiatives, and business continuity plans.
• Advise the VP - Legal, senior management, and business teams on risk exposures and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present reports on risk profile, insurance program, and claims activity to senior leadership and the Board.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed risk awareness into business processes.
• Manage and develop the risk management team; coordinate with outside counsel and external advisors as needed.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends affecting risk management, insurance, and business continuity.
