Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead the enterprise risk program in Atlanta, GA. The role reports to the VP – Legal and requires building a proactive risk culture across the organization.

You will oversee insurance, implement risk policies, and partner with cross-functional teams to mitigate exposure while supporting strategic objectives. The incumbent will lead the risk team and collaborate with external advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional risk/insurance credentials preferred.
• 8+ years in enterprise risk management and corporate insurance.
• Experience leading teams and managing relationships with brokers and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee insurance portfolio, coverage placement, renewals, and claims.
• Develop risk policies, safety, loss-prevention, and business continuity plans.
• Advise senior leadership on risk exposures and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on risk profile and insurance activity.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Safety, Internal Audit, HR to embed risk awareness.
• Lead and develop the risk management team and coordinate with outside counsel.
