Job summary

Accion seeks an Associate General Counsel to lead global risk and corporate compliance for its nonprofit and nonprofit-leaning entities. You will provide strategic legal guidance across privacy, employment, governance, and technology, supporting international operations in the U.S., Colombia, India, and Singapore.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in nonprofits, financial services, or law firms.

Responsibilities

• Support risk management and compliance across Accion's nonprofit and for-profit entities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for cross-border operations.
• Advise on employment, immigration, privacy, technology, and governance matters.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and manage complex projects across jurisdictions.
