Job summary

Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation in Cypress, CA is seeking a Risk & Analytics Manager to lead Strategic Analysis within the Global Risk & Compliance (GRC) team. This permanent hybrid role will oversee analytics across regions, focusing on portfolio decisions, loss performance, and credit origination analytics.

You will manage a team of risk and reporting analysts, drive strategy design, apply data mining and ML techniques, and present insights to senior management to optimize portfolio

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience in Auto, Motorcycle, or other consumer lending is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of risk and reporting analysts delivering analytics and reporting across YMFC regions.
• Drive strategic initiatives such as portfolio strategy design and adjustments.
• Perform quantitative and statistical analyses to monitor YMFC's global finance business.
• Apply data mining, AI, and ML techniques to analyze business performance.
• Assess credit risk levels and provide actionable recommendations for all YMFC regions.
• Evaluate internal processes to reduce risk exposure and regulatory impact.
• Produce ad hoc reports and ensure timely, accurate management reporting.
• Collaborate with regional teams on initiatives like Scorecard and Decision Engine.
